that's a kewl effect, how did you achieve that?

The photo seems like a dream sequence.

The effect is from using the Lensbaby on my camera (lensbaby.com). It does give a dreamy effect.

The people that lived there are mostly dead now but relatives of theirs live nearby and seem happy enough. The house is strange, kind of ghostly and the stories about what happened there are sketchy and almost 'bad movie' type stuff.

I know you must have abandoned places like that near you too. This one I happen to know the history of. Lot's of deaths..non-natural.

It does ... and much is secret because you wonder what happened behind the parts you actually know about. There was a murder I think and a couple of suicides. (at least a couple!)

Yeah, I love these places. I have the desire to rehabilitate it... but my husband says. "with gasoline and a match".

I think it probably is haunted. It's remarkable calm outside but once you get up close to the porch, you feel weird.
